Received a phone call bright and early at 7am. The caller claimed to represent a service for blocking unwanted calls linked to my private home number, which I've made a point of keeping off public records. They disconnected the moment I asked them to leave me alone. Cheers, Gary from South Wales.

I've had two phone calls from this number claiming that my Amazon Primetime subscription was on the verge of expiration. They offered to renew it over the phone at a discounted rate of fifty percent. The catch? I don’t even have an Amazon Primetime account, so I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
