Had a right nuisance of a call earlier! It was some automated voice, sounding distinctly American, urging me to ring them back. Did the sensible thing and just hung up. Blocked the number straight away, too! 😄

I had an encounter with a woman who posed a few seemingly "off-the-cuff" inquiries, all of which felt designed to nudge me toward switching over to British Gas. To her credit, she was quite courteous and not at all insistent, so I obliged by responding to her queries. She wrapped it up without attempting to pitch me anything, which I appreciated.

Picked up the phone, but there was nothing but dead air for about 8 seconds before they disconnected. Not sure if it was a misdial or one of those annoying “live number checkers” – you know, those folks who ring up numbers to see if they’re active before passing them off to dodgy scammers.
