Best to steer clear of this number—it's part of a dodgy mobile phone scam. They lure you in with promises of a tempting phone and tariff deal, but once you divulge your bank details, they'll order a completely different device in your name. When the pricey phone arrives, you’ll be hounded by the scammers to return it for a 'replacement'. But don’t be fooled; if you do send it back, you'll find yourself stuck with a hefty phone bill and no new handset to show for it!
Moreover, they'll possess all your banking info and personal details. It's absolutely vital to cancel your card immediately and have a chat with your mobile provider. Under no circumstances should you send back that phone! Reporting this to the police is a must, and consider enrolling with Cifas Protective Registration to help shield your account from future fraud attempts. Stay vigilant!

I was approached by Mosin Mobile regarding a mobile phone contract. I made it clear that I wasn’t keen on signing up, and in response, the representative quite rudely told me to shove off.

If all of this is true, why can't they be shut down, arrested, and imprisoned for an extended period? I don't answer any phone numbers that aren't saved in my contacts. Honest individuals leave me a message, and if I want to return their call, I do so. In this modern era, it should be possible to trace and identify such numbers.

Watch out for the following phone number - 01473378129. This particular number is registered in Ipswich, and the individuals behind it pretend to speak in English but often switch to speaking Urdu after every sentence. It seems like the calls are being redirected to another country. They lure you with inexpensive mobile deals, but their true intention is to trick you into sharing your card details and other personal information. This puts you at a high risk of identity fraud, as they later use your card information to make unauthorized purchases.
It is imperative that you contact your bank immediately and request a block on your cards and online banking if you have already shared your details with them. Additionally, make sure to obtain a crime reference number from the police. Please note that the scammers will not deliver on their promises, so it's essential to take these precautionary steps to protect yourself financially and avoid becoming a victim.

I agree with the previous remarks – it is indeed a scam. After noticing some suspicious deals being offered, I decided to conduct my own investigation on these scammers. It's always prudent to exercise caution when a deal appears excessively good, and it's advisable to delve deeper into verifying its authenticity.

Beware of these individuals as they engage in stealing practices. They present you with an enticingly inexpensive offer, but once agreed upon, they proceed to order mobile phone contracts under your name. Later on, they claim that an error occurred and manipulate you into sending the mobile devices to their supposed office located at 1 York Street in Manchester. However, this address turns out to be an unoccupied house. Further attempts to contact them through calls or emails are futile as they refuse to respond. Consequently, you are left with the burden of paying for the mobile contracts. It is advisable to stay away from these deceitful individuals and avoid being taken advantage of by them.

I keep getting phone calls from abroad, purporting to be from a company called Mobile Limited or something akin to that. I’ve mentioned to them that I’ll involve the Telephone Preference Service if they don’t cease their incessant ringing. It’s becoming quite tiresome, as they often masquerade as an energy provider, and they persistently disregard my pleas to halt these calls.

Play a practical joke on them, but I don't want to annoy them so much that they end up blocking me. Since it's a toll-free number, calling won't incur any charges.

Hello, I’m Andrew, and I’m with phonesltd.co.uk.
We’ve recently uncovered a scam that's been traced back to Pak*stan, involving con artists masquerading as representatives of Phones LTD. They’re placing calls from the numbers 01473 378129 and 378474.
These tricksters are offering unbelievably low mobile phone deals that aren’t genuine, just to siphon off personal and banking information from unsuspecting victims.
The deceit runs deeper than you might think – they take these details and impersonate the victims while signing them up for mobile contracts online in their name.
Soon after, the phones are dispatched to the victims' addresses, and the fraudsters then reach out, claiming there’s been an issue with the delivery. They provide an address for the supposed replacements.
Often, these addresses belong to empty homes, where a member of a UK gang is waiting to intercept the delivery, sign for the packages, and steal the phones.
Consequently, the victims find themselves liable for lengthy contracts with no phone to return to the original provider for cancellation.
We’re doing our best to support those affected and recommend the following steps:
First, cancel the bank card that you shared with these scammers immediately.
Secondly, it's important to report the incident to the police for a crime reference number.
This documentation serves as proof that you’ve been victimized, which should assist in the cancellation of your contract(s) in co-operation with the network provider.
I sincerely hope this information proves useful to someone out there. Should you need to reach us, our sole contact number is 01473 231323.

This phone number is involved in dodgy dealings.
It appears to be a call centre based in Lahore, Pakistan, using VoIP technology to masquerade as representatives of UK mobile providers.
They lure unsuspecting individuals with tantalising offers that don’t actually exist, all in a bid to extract personal and financial information from their targets.
Once they've swindled the necessary details, they proceed to place online orders for mobile contracts under the guise of the victim.
Consequently, the unsuspecting individual receives mobile phones at their doorstep, but they’re nothing like the models they believed they had ordered during the call.
Following this, the fraudsters reach out, feigning concern over a dispatch issue and provide phony addresses (typically in Manchester) for the victims to return the incorrect phones through Royal Mail.
These addresses turn out to be vacant properties where a UK-based gang waits to intercept the deliveries and abscond with the devices.
Ultimately, this leaves the victim burdened with numerous 24-month contracts and without any phones to return to the providers to annul the agreements.
Please exercise extreme caution and refrain from divulging any personal or financial information over the phone.

Hello there,
I'm Andrew and I represent phonesltd.co.uk.
We want to bring to your attention an ongoing scam involving individuals who falsely claim to be affiliated with Phones LTD. They've been reaching out from the numbers 01473 378129 and 378474.
These con artists are offering non-existent, overly cheap mobile phone deals, trying to extract personal and financial information from unsuspecting targets.
However, the scheme goes much deeper than that; they exploit these details to impersonate the victim and place orders for mobile contracts online, all in the victim’s name.
The phones end up at the victim's address, and shortly after, the fraudsters follow up with a call, feigning an 'issue with shipping' and providing a new address for returns.
Typically, these addresses belong to unoccupied properties, where a member of a UK gang is poised to intercept the delivery, sign for it, and make off with the phones.
This leaves victims in a tough spot, stuck with 24-month contracts and no actual devices to return to the provider for cancellation.
We’re doing our utmost to assist those affected and recommend the following steps:
First and foremost, cancel your bank card that you provided to these scammers immediately.
You'll also need to report this incident to the police to obtain a crime reference number.
This documentation proves that you have been swindled, facilitating the cancellation of your contracts by the network.
I genuinely hope this information aids someone out there. For assistance, feel free to reach us at our sole number: 01473 231323.

An individual consistently contacts my place of employment, falsely portraying themselves as an employee of a mobile phone company or expressing their intentions to take out my coworkers. The situation is quite peculiar and the caller's voice suggests he may be from India. These intrusive phone calls occur persistently on a daily basis.

A work landline that I use has been receiving numerous calls per day from a particular number. The caller, who claims to represent a mobile phone company, keeps insisting that I provide them with my phone number. Despite refusing and ending the call, they persistently call back, attempting to exchange phone numbers in order to initiate text conversations and foster a friendship. I have made multiple requests for them to cease calling my workplace, and warned that I will report their behavior as harassment. It is worth noting that the caller appears to have an Indian accent.

I received a call on my work landline from someone who claimed to be from a website. They said they had a job offer for me at their company where I could make £2700 per night! They asked me to provide them with my phone number. I declined and quickly ended the call. However, they called me back and provided me with a phone number starting with +42. They insisted that I should send them a text message and that they were waiting for my response. The person on the other end of the line sounded like a man in his mid-30s with an Indian accent. The whole situation seemed very strange.

Over the course of three days, this particular number rang me a total of 15 times, even though I had already answered and explicitly asked them not to call again. However, the person on the other end had a limited grasp of the English language, which made their communication quite challenging to comprehend. The only thing I managed to gather from the conversation was that they were requesting a payment of £20, although I remained unsure about what exactly it was for.

Even after I hung up the phone, they refused to leave me alone. They continued to call the work landline repeatedly, even after being asked numerous times to stop calling. As a last resort, I decided to report the number to a higher authority. After doing so, they apologized and ceased their calls.
