Got a call from 01473371613 around 4:18pm but didn’t pick up. Tried calling back and was met with some automatic voice about UBS trading under the names Advantage and Beneficial. Hung up straight away and blocked the number. Definitely a dodgy scam. I’ve had loads of calls from different numbers all over the UK like this. They pretend to do surveys but are really just trying to steal your info. Best to ignore and not engage with them.

Just got a call from 01473 371613 Ipswich but didn’t answer cause it was an unknown number. These days nearly everything’s done over the phone or online, so you can’t just block all unknown callers. I’ve got my own way to handle spam though - my phone’s always on vibrate and if I get a call from a number far from where I live, I usually don’t pick up. Once they hang up, I call back and most of the time it’s some recorded message about beneficial trading connected to that number.

They go by the names Beneficial or Advantage and are actually a survey outfit operating out of the Philippines. Authorities have shut down two of their UK branches after cracking down on their dodgy methods and breaching our phone laws. Looks like they're on the hunt for a third office, so hopefully it'll get closed soon too!

i never picked up cause i dunno who it is, they keep ringing like 3 times daily for almost 2 weeks now. if i did answer, bet they wouldn’t be happy lol, it’s gettin proper annoying. seriously, they need to sort this out coz it’s not just this one number, there’s loads more. my elderly mum is scared to even touch the phone cos of these calls, especially after one of them said he was gonna visit her. it’s upsetting to see her like that.

Got a bit of a dodgy call from this number earlier. They were asking for someone by name, but it wasn’t me. I told them they had the wrong number, and then the bloke said something about my number being 'chosen.' So, I told him to do one and hung up. He had the cheek to ring me back and threatened to “pull my tongue out!” What a charming fellow! I just laughed and told him to "jog on," and seriously, folks, watch out for scammers like this. I tried dialling the number again, but surprise, surprise, it wouldn’t connect.
