Received a call from an unknown number, and quite frankly, it was rather bothersome.

I rang up Virgin Media to discuss my fibre speeds, but as soon as I began to ask a few questions, the chap on the other end just cut the line. Quite odd behaviour, I must say!

He provided a contact number, 0344 800 2400, and mentioned that they would promptly disable my device from their end. Sounded rather dubious, to say the least!

I had a chap on the phone claiming his name was "Mark" and insisting he was from Microsoft. He went on about how they’d dispatched numerous emails regarding some suspicious goings-on with my account. I told him I hadn't received any emails and questioned how he presumed to know more about my own computer than I did. He promptly hung up!

Just this past Saturday morning, they had the audacity to pose as representatives from Microsoft. Seriously, steer clear of these scammers! Their main goal is to trick you into giving up your credit or debit card information. Just don’t engage with them!
