Got a call saying there’d been a £300 charge on my Visa card and to press 1 if I wanted to block it. I hung up straight away, looked up the number, and ended up here. The scary bit? It was from a local area code, even from a local exchange number. Makes it feel way more real and disturbing. Really hope Ofcom are on top of this, it's quite alarming.
