Some bloke called 'Rob' rang about my boiler being older than 10 years. I asked him why he cared and he said something about grants being available. Definitely a scam in my opinion. I told him to never ring me again. Weirdly, the same number's called us a few times before.

Got a call from this number claiming we’d chatted earlier and I supposedly mentioned my boiler was over a decade old. I told them that couldn’t be right since I’ve only been in this house for under ten years and put in a brand new boiler when I moved in. Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now.

I got a call from a firm named EFD asking about our boiler. They said someone at the house had already talked to them before. They wanted to know how old the boiler was, if it’s still working properly, and also my age as the owner. I asked what it was regarding and they said it might be about some funding or energy grant to swap out the boiler. I told them I wasn’t keen and then ended the call.
