I had a feeling it was just another useless call, so I let it ring through to whoever was on the other end. There was loads of chatting and laughing before a woman finally answered with a "hello." I jumped in straight away, saying "Let me guess, you're one of those dodgy calls pushing timeshares or trying to pry about energy surveys?" She denied it, so I ended the call there and then. After reading the comments here, looks like I wasn’t too far off! At least she sounded English this time, which was a bit of a change.

A lady called claiming to be from some official group doing 'efficiency surveys', but it felt dodgy. I reckon they're either pushing loft insulation sales or, worse, might just be after getting inside people's homes for other sketchy reasons. Definitely not one to trust.
