Received an unexpected call, which I believe I've encountered in the past. Just decided to ignore it this time around.

Utterly impolite; everything they provide is nothing but lies!

I attempted to call this number, but unfortunately, it was unreachable. This leads me to believe that it is most likely a scam.

I received a silent call just after I finished my conversation with 0203849509. I've now added both numbers to my blocked list. Quite the coincidence, isn’t it?

Received a rather brisk call from 01437132596 today, where the chap on the line asked his questions rather quickly. I requested to be removed from their mailing list and, without so much as a word, he disconnected the call. This happened on 2nd May at 12:11 PM. Quite the experience!

I recently received a call from this number, and the chap on the line claimed to be an 'Efficiency Advisor.' Curiosity got the better of me, so I inquired about what that entailed, but he promptly disconnected the call. Clearly, there's not much going on upstairs in his case! It seems we need a new way to label numbers that manifest such grandiose delusions.

On the date of 30th April 2018, a telephone call was received but there was no response when answered. It was quite startling to see that the number 1471 revealed this particular caller's identity. This situation is highly inconvenient for my elderly relatives who have to anticipate calls, particularly when they turn out to be silent or spam. It is imperative that authorities look into this Ipswich number as it raises concerns.

I'm attempting to market some loft insulation. I mentioned that it's completely insulated and ready for use.

Received a call from a number that turned out to be a fake, with no history whatsoever—definitely a scam attempt.

How inconsiderate! They hung up right after I greeted them with a friendly “hello.” It seems like a rather unpleasant trend echoed in the remarks from others as well. Definitely time to add them to my block list! X

I received a call from this number, picked up, and they straightaway terminated the call. I've now blocked the number.

Had a rather irritating experience with a chilly caller peddling home insulation services. If you're a BT customer, I’d highly recommend including this number on your BT Call Protect block list. It might save you from more unwanted interruptions!

01473 132596 - I seem to have dozed off and missed the call! Now I’m none the wiser about who was on the other end or what they were after.

It is vital to put an end to this ongoing disruption. The authorities have taken a new approach by imposing fines and even the possibility of imprisonment for company directors. Incidents should be reported to the Information Commissioner's Office via the following link: https://ofcomforms.secure.force.com/formentry/SitesFormCCTSilentCalls

A chap from Options gave me a bell. I told him to cut it out with the calls and to remove my number from their records. I've received this call far too often, so I’ve finally decided to block them.

They remained silent and abruptly ended the call. What is the purpose of such an action? Anonymous sender from the vicinity of Wymondham.

I inquired about the reason behind the caller's ring, but apart from mentioning that he was ringing up everyone in my postcode, he was rather vague and couldn't clarify why he'd decided to call me specifically!

Just like everyone else here, I'm really fed up with the annoying calls my landline keeps receiving from these scammers! It's absolutely tiresome.

Received a call earlier today. Had a feeling it might be an annoying call as the area code seemed to be from Ipswich, but I still answered. The caller abruptly ended the call. I have now blocked the number.

Tried ringing, but no one picked up—just heard silence before they cut me off after a mere five seconds. When I attempted to return the call, I was informed that the number wasn’t valid. Quite the peculiar experience!

Picked up the phone, and immediately heard some background chitchat. It struck me as a typical sales pitch, so I hung up without a second thought. I'm relieved I did, given all the dreadful tales I've read about these sorts of calls. Why hasn’t anyone flagged this company yet? I’m also registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

I picked up the call, and some dodgy chap went, "Oi!" before abruptly cutting off. What a strange encounter!

I received a rather peculiar call earlier. A voice, which was attempting to mimic that of an elderly lady, mentioned my name directly. However, it seems she was swiftly corrected by a male voice lurking in the background before the line went dead. Quite odd, really!

I received a call earlier today. The person who called asked for me by name. When I impatiently asked them to quickly state their purpose, they became upset and said they would call again when I was in a better mood. Later, when I tried to return the call, the number would not connect, which I wasn't particularly surprised about.

Absolutely appalling! This Francis fellow had the audacity to tell me to perform a rather crude act. To top it off, when my wife picked up and inquired about his identity, he had the cheek to claim he was our son. Quite out of order, considering my wife is unable to have kids. This just adds to the list of unpleasant calls from this number – definitely never picking up again!

I mentioned I wasn't keen on their pitch, and instead of taking the hint, they resorted to crude suggestions about what I could do with myself. I genuinely hope they stub their toe or something equally unfortunate!

A lengthy monologue about the individual who owns the residence, including information about their age and other related details. Set the phone aside.

Earlier today, I was contacted by an international number with a person asking for me by my correct name and address. The individual seemed interested in discussing my property. However, as a precaution, I informed them that the call was being recorded and asked them to refrain from proceeding further. Eventually, I decided to end the call by hanging up. Now, I'm curious to know which company was behind this call and how they obtained my personal details.

I just had a chat with my elderly mother, who's 88, and inquisitively asked whether she owns her home and, to my concern, if she's on her own. Regrettably, she confirmed both queries. However, the woman on the line seemed quite pleasant and explained it was part of a council initiative aimed at installing loft insulation.

An individual named Katy contacted me, claiming to represent a firm called 'Options', which she described as an information services company. She was keen to discuss my property and provided a reference number. However, when I probed further about her company and requested her name along with the company’s details once more, she abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

A chap was rather forceful and quite cheeky regarding the state of my loft insulation, which he claimed was outdated. When I politely mentioned I wasn't keen on his suggestions, his attitude took a turn for the worse and he became rather unpleasant.

I received a call from someone named Jordan, who was supposedly an adviser. To say he was impolite would be an understatement; when I informed him I wasn't interested, he became quite abrasive. His English was perfectly clear, yet his behaviour was utterly appalling—rather reminiscent of a boorish beast, if I’m honest.

I received a rather overbearing call from an adviser who just wouldn’t let up. Despite me clearly stating that I wasn’t in a position to pay anything right now, he insisted on sending someone to my home. When I requested a price over the phone, he wouldn’t disclose any specifics. After I politely declined for the third time, he abruptly hung up on me. Quite rude, I must say!

I received a rather unexpected telephone call from someone who claimed to be an ‘efficiency consultant’ associated with “Vision Energy”. She began to assert that fibreglass loft insulation had fallen out of favour in terms of efficiency. At that juncture, I chose to terminate the conversation — it was an unsolicited call and blatantly ignored the Telephone Preference Service.

I received a call from someone with a British accent who claimed to be Richard, representing some sort of local postcode advisory service. I received a call from a woman who introduced herself as my local Efficiency Adviser. When I questioned if she had checked the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) before making the call, she requested my reference number in order to remove me from their database. I told her that I didn't have a reference number and she responded with, "Yes, you do sir." She abruptly ended the call. To my surprise, when I tried calling back, the number appeared to be invalid.

A woman rang up, requesting to chat with my husband specifically by his name, identifying herself as “our energy consultant.” Sadly, she got our street name wrong, which really irritated him, leading him to end the call abruptly. We’ll never find out what it was about! It might have been concerning our solar panels, which seem to be all the rage lately.
