I've received this same call multiple times over the past week. Initially, it was a rather dreary-sounding automated male voice with an English accent - quite unsettling, really. But today, it switched to an American accent, this time a woman. The message claimed to be from BT, stating that both my internet and phone service would be terminated today, and then it went on to instruct me to press 1 or some such nonsense. I hung up immediately. However, when I tried to return the call, I got a message saying the number wasn’t recognised at all. Quite the peculiar situation!
