Without a doubt, this is a scam.

Got a call earlier from this number claiming to be from BT, saying they needed to switch off my router because apparently there was an attempt to hack it. I asked who they thought I was and requested the router ID. After that, the polite woman just hung up on me. Tried calling back but the line’s dead now. Watch out for this one!

Got a call with some recorded American voice saying it was BT warning me my internet would be cut off today. Thing is, BT doesn’t even supply my internet. They then gave me two choices, probably trying to get me to talk to a scammer. I just ended the call straight away.
