I got a dodgy call over a few days where they claimed the UK government owed me a refund. The first time, they explained the amount I was supposedly due. A second call came later, asking for more personal info. Then on the third call, they told me I was eligible for the payout. Since I made up all the details they wanted, it seemed super fishy to me. Definitely a scam trying to grab my banking info.
