I got a call from 01472 329016 with a recorded voice saying East Midlands trains or something similar charged me £100 for a ticket. They told me to press one if I didn’t do it. I don’t even have a debit card, so I just ended the call. Felt like a scam to me.

I received a rather peculiar call from 01472 329016. It was a pre-recorded message purporting to be from East Midlands trains, alleging that £100 had been deducted from my debit card for a train fare. It added that if I didn’t recognise this transaction, I should press one. Unfortunately, as I don’t even possess a debit card, I opted to hang up instead. Quite a strange occurrence, I must say!
