If you run a business and use a card machine, or even just applied for one on some other site, your number usually gets passed around to these companies. They’ll ring you up, asking about your card machine or what you use for payments in your business. They can get pretty annoying - they’ve been ringing me every morning at 9 for over a week now. I finally picked up and that’s when I realised what was going on. Honestly, just say you don’t have a card machine or that you don’t run a business, and ask them to remove you from their calling list.

Same here, got loads of calls from this number and at last picked up. They were asking about card payments for businesses. I fibbed, said I don’t run a business or use card machines. They were polite and said they’d remove me from their call list!

Got a call from these people earlier, didn’t pick up at first but then they dropped me an email. Turns out it was about a question I asked on Expert Market regarding card payment options for my bakery. They actually sent a rep round the very next day and managed to cut a fair bit off what I was paying for my old PAYG card terminal. Pretty decent outfit, seems they’re properly regulated as well.
