got a call from 01471 192 588 the other day, i just ended the call right away.

Got a robotic message saying my internet’s been hacked and I’d be cut off in a day. They gave me a bunch of buttons to press if I wanted to disconnect straight away. I just ended the call immediately.

Since they didn’t leave a voicemail, I decided to look up the number. Turns out it’s not even a real one, so it’s pretty clear it’s a scam call.

Don't fall for this, got four calls all day from various numbers claiming to be BT. It's the same recorded message each time. Whatever you do, don't press any keys - it might connect you to a premium line and you'll get stung big time.
