9 yearsThat's definitely a con artist.9 yearsSome bloke rang me up saying he was from BT, told me there was a hacker in California messing with my internet. I played along for ages, about 20 minutes, pretending I was a Microsoft engineer working with BT, pointing out all the rubbish he was spouting. Then he started asking about my missus, family and all that. I told him I’m on my own apart from the nurses who pop in to give me tablets to keep the voices quiet! He sounded well puzzled but then asked if he could ring me back another time!BTCaliforniaMicrosoft9 yearsGot a call on my home phone, didn’t pick up and decided to look this number up afterwards.9 yearsFraudulent call - received a ridiculous spiel about my router being hacked.
