i got a recorded message claiming to be from my broadband company saying my internet would be cut off within a day because my ip was hacked - it told me to press 1 to speak to a "tech support" dude. i honestly have no idea what pressing 1 might do because i just ended the call straight away. these sorts of calls keep coming, but i always just block them and so far my internet hasn’t been stopped or anything.
