Got a voicemail from someone saying they were from Talktalk, saying my internet was about to be cut off! They wanted me to hit 1 to sort it out. Pretty obvious scam, probably connected to that recent Talktalk data leak. I’ve blocked the number and reported it straight away!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from BT tech support, saying there was an issue with my broadband and landline. They wanted me to log into my computer so they could guide me through fixing it, but I didn’t trust it. I told them no way, or I’d probably end up losing both my phone number and internet.
