I answered the phone, and straight away, a woman’s voice greeted me with, “Good morning, madam.” She launched into a spiel regarding the renewal of my washing machine’s warranty, claiming they had a new deal on offer. Without hesitation, I ended the call. Just another dodgy attempt, if you ask me!

It was quite clear to me that this was nothing more than a scam.

Absolutely infuriating! I received a blaring, recorded message from someone named GABBY, going on about loft insulation. They rang me yesterday from another number as well, and it seems they’ve done this before. I've managed to block their calls, yet they keep calling me from different numbers. How irritating!

She then tried to pitch a renewal, which I politely turned down. The machine has been around for a few years now, and I’ve never renewed the original warranty.
