I received a call from someone named Mike, who had what I’d describe as an Asian accent. He was keen on verifying my address but avoided any clarity regarding his employer. The moment I inquired about the amount of money they were attempting to swindle from me, he abruptly cut the line. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

An Asian woman rang me up, identifying me by name and claiming to represent British Gas. She mentioned it was regarding my insurance for home appliances.

I received a call earlier from someone attempting to impersonate British Gas, aiming to sell me some sort of coverage. As soon as I mentioned that I'm already a customer with British Gas, they abruptly hung up. It was quite evident that their command of English wasn't the best.

Oh, here we go again with one of those Indian call centres! They had the audacity to claim they were from a firm named UK Now, trying to tackle me with three questions. They assured me that no more calls would come my way if I played along. I simply told them no and ended the call. Straight away, I made sure to block and report the number. What a nuisance!
