Just got a ring from this number warning about some suspicious stuff on my internet, claiming it’ll be cut off in two days. The voice was one of those auto-recorded ones, like those annoying PPI scam calls. I’m about to contact my broadband provider to find out if there’s any truth to it. What bugs me is that my number is unlisted, so how on earth did they find it? Plus, the fact I picked up must mean they know the line is active.
