This number is definitely affiliated with the MoD IT service centre; however, it's possible that it's being used as a spoofed caller ID for some sort of scam.

I received a call from this number earlier today. When I tried to ring them back, I discovered it belonged to the help desk of the Ministry of Defence. Quite unexpected, if you ask me!

I’ve come across this phone number being used by a rather shifty plumbing company, supposedly associated with a chap named Patrick Thawe from Birmingham. It seems he's had his fair share of trouble with the law, being labelled a fraudster and a con artist.
