I just ignored the call and blocked the number since it wasn’t saved in my contacts.

I picked up the call but it got disconnected straight away, sounded like they were ringing a bunch of numbers all at once. Really irritating!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, they rattled off my name, address, and my landline number. They said BT was offering a £35 discount and free calls to mobiles and landlines but said they needed my DOB to check if I qualified. I wasn’t comfy giving that out and asked if the call was legit. I ended the call after that.
