BT Openreach – oh absolutely, you're definitively an Indian woman, aren't you?

Utterly frustrating to receive that bothersome call—what a complete waste of my precious time!

Fraudsters at work! They pretended to be checking in on my insurance claim, but that’s a total fabrication. When I inquired how they obtained my number, they simply cut the call. Stay vigilant!

The number buzzed through, I picked it up, and they abruptly cut off the line. Quite irritating, really.

I wouldn’t recommend picking up calls from unknown numbers. I've marked this one as potential spam after doing a bit of digging here, so I’ve now added it to my blocked list. Better safe than sorry!

What a right pain these scam calls are! Honestly, they ought to be thrown behind bars. Yet, I gather that tracking these nuisances down is rather tricky, so they just manage to slip through the net without a care in the world.

Received a phone call from an Inverness number, which immediately raised my suspicions as I didn’t recognise it. I chose not to pick up, and they didn't leave any voicemail either. It's now firmly blocked on my phone. After looking through some comments, it seems pretty clear this could be a scam.

Just encountered a dodgy call from someone with an American twang regarding a car insurance claim. Be vigilant, folks! Stay safe and remember, never share your banking info over the phone with anyone. Take care! xx

Just trying to find out if I’ve had a little bump in the car lately. What a nuisance...

A woman inquired about my name, and I cheekily replied, "suck my plums." To my surprise, she responded with, "nice to meet you, Mr. Suck My Plums." I must admit, it caught me off guard and gave me quite the thrill, so I ended the call rather abruptly!

Clearly a dodgy character. Rang me claiming to be from the legal team concerning a supposed car accident. When I suggested that he might be a fraud, he wanted to know my reasoning. I said, “Well, why on earth would you call me about an incident that never took place?” At that point, he abruptly ended the call.

Please continue to ring!

I keep receiving calls that claim to be courtesy calls from Total Motor Assist. The thing is, we've wrapped up everything with them ages ago, so it's puzzling that they’re still reaching out. They’ve promised on two occasions to “update their system”, yet the calls continue to flood in. At this point, I simply hang up and block every iteration of the number they ring from!

When I picked up the call, there was nothing but silence on the other end. I've since decided to block the number, as it appears to be another case of spam.

Yet another bothersome call from our friends up north, this time hailing from Inverness! It appears they’re shifting their bases around Scotland quite frequently. One can only hope that they’ll eventually be apprehended and face the consequences for their annoying antics!

I received a call about a car crash I was involved in, and I inquired about how they acquired my name and number. I’m fairly certain that under GDPR regulations, they shouldn't have access to that information. The caller mentioned that they obtained my details from the UK Insurance Company Group, which supposedly oversees all insurance firms. I've since blocked their number!

I received a rather dodgy phone call regarding an alleged accident. They couldn't even get my name right! When they inquired whether I had faced any injuries, they abruptly cut the line. Quite the shady operation, if you ask me.

I received a missed call from this number, and when I attempted to ring back, it only rang once before cutting off. This happened three times in total! I reckon anyone who operates like this is likely trying to conceal their identity or purpose. Consequently, I would label this as a type of unsolicited cold call.
