This woman asked what my name was, so I told her to ‘kiss my grapes’. She then went on to say, “Alright there, Mr Kiss My Grapes.” Ended up getting a bit awkward and just hung up!

Got a call telling me I qualify for a specific payout for uninsured losses under some UK insurance rule, but supposedly I need to claim within a month if I’m in England, or six months if I’m in Scotland. Honestly, that’s complete nonsense. There’s no such law, and the typical time limit for claims related to tort is actually six years in England and three years up north. I’m guessing this is either a scam to grab personal details or one of those advance fee scams. Best not to give them any info at all!

Got a call about a car crash I was supposedly involved in. I asked where they’d got my details from, cause I reckon GDPR rules mean they shouldn’t have them. She claimed it came from the UK Insurance Company Group, which she said was like the parent company to all insurers. Hung up and blocked them straight away.
