I got a call from someone saying I might be owed some money, but when I said I wasn’t interested, they just wouldn’t take no for an answer. I asked them to stop ringing and to take my number off their list, but the person got nasty and started arguing, threatening to call again. As soon as I ended the call, another one came through from 01947464305 - I didn’t pick up, just blocked it. I’m pretty sure both calls were from the same person.

So I got a call from a bloke with a Welsh accent, said he was from Fishguard and working for some Government Agency. He told me he could help me get some money back. But get this, the number actually showed up with an Inverness area code, which made me suspicious straight away. He said his name was Marcus Bryn Roberts, but after that dodgy start, I didn’t trust him one bit.
