However, when I tried to return the call from my work phone, the person on the other end claimed they had previously contacted me on that number—complete nonsense! They actually tried to reach me on my personal mobile. It turns out this number is associated with a group called Britain In Europe Stronger Campaign. I’m at a loss as to how they obtained my contact details, especially since it’s registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Yet, here they are, ringing me incessantly—five times already this morning alone!
