My phone rang and I used 1471 to check the number, which turned out to be 01462-600512. When I looked it up, saw that lots of people got sales calls from it.

The phone started ringing but as soon as I answered, there was nothing but silence. I traced the number with 1471 and discovered it was 01462-600512.

I had the radio playing in the background, so I held the phone up towards it. The person on the other end didn’t say a word and just ended the call.

The person on the line seemed really young, probably about 12 or something. He kept talking about some government paid loft insulation we'd supposedly got done, which is nonsense because we've never had any government stuff done here. I had a bad feeling about it being a scam, and when I asked for more info, he just cut the call straight away. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.
