It's a representative from an EE affiliate reaching out on their behalf. Just a bit of marketing outreach.

They keep ringin me even tho I’m on TPS. Seriously, what’s the point of TPS then? Each time they call, they hear a message saying my number’s safeguarded by Call Guardian, and they just drop the call. Seems like they don’t get that they’re actually blocked.

I've been receiving persistent calls from this number, yet they never bother to leave a message. Quite puzzling, really!

I just finished paying off my sim only contract with EE and moved over to Vodafone. About 5 minutes later, I get a call from a woman trying to pitch loads of fancy offers to keep me with EE. Wish she’d told me about these deals before I paid everything off!

Proper rude bloke and way too pushy, anyone saying he’s a legit EE seller needs to think again, honestly he oughta be sacked, such a horrible way of dealing with people. Pretty sure this is a scam.

Didn’t answer since the number looked unfamiliar - cheers to everyone who shared their thoughts, really helped me avoid any trouble. I’ll just go ahead and block this one.

I honestly thought it was some sort of scam at first. The person sent me a text from a 150 number which I received right away. They were offering 100GB data with unlimited calls and texts for just £20 a month. I agreed to it. After the call ended, I checked my app and all the new allowances were already updated. I was proper surprised, haha. Glad I didn’t hang up and actually listened to what they had to say.

Got a missed call from this number earlier. Looked it up online and found this page. Cheers to everyone here for sharing info, really helped me avoid what could’ve been a bit of a hassle. Much appreciated!

Got a call from EE about upgrading my plan. Seems legit, I double checked to make sure my contract actually changed. The person on the other end had loads of noise in the background though.

Some guy ringing from Hitchin said he was with EE. Felt a bit off since I’d only just sorted a new contract a few hours before!

Guy said he was from EE trying to sell me an upgrade. Seemed a bit dodgy to me. He started asking loads of security stuff. I told him to send me an email since he said he had my account details. He said he couldn’t, something about their system not having emails! Said he could only text me, funny enough to the number I already had.

Some guy rang saying he was from EE, telling me about an upgrade offer. The noise in the background was really loud and there were awkward silences like he didn’t know what to do next. He mentioned needing to ask me security questions, but that seemed odd since EE normally contacts me through their official app if there’s an upgrade (and mine definitely isn’t due one atm). Didn’t trust it so I just ended the call and blocked the number.

These numbers seem alright. I rang 150 and spoke to EE’s upgrade team (1-3-1). They checked and confirmed the call had come from my phone and even gave me the exact time. They said this number is genuine and that it’s a third party doing offers for certain EE customers. When I asked the EE agent on 150 if they could match the deal, they said it wasn’t quite as cheap but almost similar.

Havent picked up but they've been ringing me daily for nearly a week straight now.

They said they were from EE but there was a lot of noise in the background, sounded fishy to me. I asked for a text to prove it and got one with 'EE' in quotes, which isn't normal for EE messages or 150. Something felt off, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Received a call from this number with loads of background noise, they told me I could get an upgrade even though I’m 6 months away from it. I gave them my name and some security info, but got a bit uneasy, so I ended the call quickly with a made-up excuse. I then rang up EE on the official number saved on my phone, and they confirmed this was really their sales team. The call was logged and recorded in their system too, so apparently it’s all legit - just a sales offer they’re pushing.

Someone rang claiming to be from EE saying I could get a new phone or upgrade. They asked me to confirm some security details but I got suspicious since EE’s never phoned me before and I just have a SIM-only plan. Told them I wasn’t interested and they hung up nicely.

Got a call from someone saying they were with EE, saying they had some "great news." Sounded really muffled and there was awful noise in the background, couldn't hear properly. Felt suspicious so I just ended the call. The number shows up as maybe linked to an EE partner, but I'm still not convinced. EE have never rang me before anyway.

They called me last Wednesday and again this morning. I didn’t pick up either time. It went straight to voicemail, but there was no message left. I’ve decided to block the number now.

Got a call from someone saying they were EE saying I was eligible for an instant upgrade. I’m just on a SIM-only deal with my own handset, no upgrade due whatsoever. Smelt like either a hard sell trying to make me switch to a contract phone or possibly a scam. Ended up just hanging up on them (like I did before).

Got a call from someone saying they were from EE. They wanted to talk about upgrading my plan and asked for my full name, the plan I’m on, and even 2 letters from my password. I didn’t give any password bits, just said I couldn’t remember. This is the second time this number has called me now. Watch out and don’t give away any part of your password.
