She wanted me to give her some (actually, all) of my passcode info. When I said NO, she sounded shocked! Then she asked me why not? I just repeated what she had asked for and told her still NO!

I rang EE to enquire about their broadband, and I didn’t leave my number as I called from this very phone. Since then, I’ve had three calls from this number in just a few days. I’m thinking of filing a proper complaint about them constantly calling without my permission, which seems to go against GDPR and PECR rules. If you never agreed to get marketing calls, they’re basically ignoring the law. Definitely report them to the ICO!

So, these people called me and even though they were quite polite and had a good offer yesterday, I said no. But today, I thought maybe it was worth it and called the number back. No answer at all. Then I contacted EE, gave them the number and they told me it’s actually a scam, and this info came straight from EE's official 150 line. Someone’s definitely confused but stay careful y’know!!!

Remember back in the 80s when you'd get dog mess stuck in the grooves of your BMX tyres, and you’d have to pick it out with a stick? It was everywhere! Walking down to the shops, stepping in it, then hopping in your dad’s spanking new car, only to smell that horrible pong filling the car and see your dad’s face drop. Seems like this dog mess is still around today, just like those awful con artists trying to mug off honest, hardworking folks. Honestly, chuck this crap in a bag and toss it in the dog mess bin - that’s exactly where it should be!

I’m aware it’s connected to EE but they were really unpleasant, kept calling then hanging up, felt pretty pushy. One time I answered with “Hello?” and the lady just snapped “Address” like I owed her or something. Definitely wouldn’t trust them. Just because they’re linked to my network provider doesn’t mean I won’t be adding them to my blocked numbers. I've received a handful of missed calls from this number recently, but I finally picked up today. The chap on the other end was quite polite, though I've come across numerous accounts suggesting that others haven't had such a pleasant experience. He inquired about my monthly mobile expenditure since I'm on pay-as-you-go, to which I mentioned around ten quid. He proceeded to mention some unlimited SIM offers for twenty pounds, and I found myself nodding along. Then, he transferred me to his manager, who went through the terms and conditions with me. They mentioned that they would send further details my way via post, but didn't actually provide any specifics or seek my input on anything. Quite curious, really!

I find it funny how some folks immediately jump to the scam conclusion. Companies ring up their clients all the time to pitch new offers, it's pretty normal. If you’re ever unsure, just ask them for some sort of detail to prove they're legit, it’s not difficult. Also, remember broadband and mobile teams are different, so one might not know about the other, but that doesn't mean it’s dodgy.
