I got a recorded call claiming to be from British 19, saying my internet would be cut off and telling me to press certain keys. Luckily, I didn’t get tricked by it.

Like what others mentioned, I figure hitting any buttons could probably drain loads of cash from my account.

Just like the others said, it was the same deal. I ended up putting the phone down!

Got another call from a US woman, with a recorded message saying my bt broadband was about to be disconnected today. I just ended the call and blocked the number. That’s actually the second time I’ve been called from two different numbers today.

Just some total idiot again, such a pointless call. Seriously, why can’t they just find something better to do?

I got a robotic call saying my BT internet was about to connect and I had to pick between 2 options. I just ended the call straight away.

I rang my phone company to find out if pressing option 2, “cut me off”, had accidentally racked up any expensive premium call charges. Since I don’t have BT broadband, I just saw it as a way to stick it to them. But later I got worried I’d only helped the scammers by picking up in the first place. So, I had a look at my bill - thankfully, no dodgy charges there. The provider told me straight up it’s a scam, so watch out and don’t get tricked!

Just like the other calls I got, this one was a robotic voice saying it was from BT's tech team. They gave me a couple of choices to keep my internet working. I just ended the call straight away.

Honestly, this is pretty much the same thing over and over. Typical advice stands: if you feel unsure, just end the call and definitely don’t press any buttons.

Had a call from some automated voice, sounded like an American woman, saying my BT internet was about to be cut off. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a robo voice, sounded American, said it was BT internet tech support. They told me my internet would be cut off the next day unless I pressed one of two buttons to stop it. Pretty sure it’s a scam or one of those calls that charges crazy fees if you respond. Checked my 1571 and there was no voicemail left. Stay careful out there!
