A bloke who said his name was "Sean," which caught me off guard coz his accent was clearly from the Indian subcontinent, not Ireland. He asked if I’d been getting any dodgy calls. I just said "no, except this one, and it’s gonna be blocked now" and then I hung up.

Got a call from these at about 11 this morning, didn’t pick up. Seems like these scammers are everywhere, especially over the Easter holidays. I just got a new phone number, so maybe that’s why I’m getting all these calls. Just signed up with the Telephone Preference Service to try and stop it. Been getting calls from Scotland, Cambridgeshire and even Bermuda it looks like - such a hassle, all bloody nuisance calls and scams.

They rang me saying they were from the Telephone Preference Service and wanted me to verify my identity by giving my debit card details to "upgrade" my service. I told them I wasn't comfortable sharing that info and ended the call. Right after, they rang again and put me through to some Senior Authorisation team who asked for my sort code and expiry date. I said no again and told them their service is pointless since I keep getting annoying calls. Then the bloke had the nerve to say he understood because I’m a pensioner! What a lot of nerve.

They call here quite a bit and there’s always this weird ring followed by a pause before someone talks. I like to act like I’m ancient and can’t catch a single thing they say, then they usually hang up. One time they mentioned blocking my 'nuisance class' so I jokingly replied, “Block my nuisance? How about unblocking my loo instead, cheers.” That made the woman proper mad and she told me to get myself checked in a mental hospital. She might have a point, but I figured it was better than getting conned.

This is getting proper annoying now, with about 4 calls a day (and I work from home). It’s clearly a scam and all about some Telephone Preference Service nonsense, plus the callers hardly speak proper English. Just been messing about on a call, kept saying “brilliant” to everything they said. When they twigged I wasn’t buying it, they hung up straight away. Some bloke said he was from Telephone Preference Management, wanted to check my details to sign me up again for their blocking service. All he had was what’s in the BT directory! Asked me for my bank sort code and debit card expiry date - didn’t go any further cos I refused to give the sort code. Told him the call-blocking service isn’t really working, I still get about one annoying call every day. His accent sounded more Indian than Scottish, definitely not from around here!

I’ve gotten 5 calls in the past day and a half, even though I’ve blocked numbers. Somehow these calls still get through. The person on the line sounds Indian, either male or female, and says they’re trying to assist with my internet or the Telephone Preference Management Service. I tell them it’s annoying and just hang up. If they manage to speak first, they talk over me, argue, sound really pushy, and definitely aren’t legit BT employees like they claim. Watch out. Don’t share any personal info with them.

Today, I told Eva that the company hassling me was hers and if they didn’t stop I’d be reporting them for harassment - she just ended the call. She never told me her name but kept pestering an elderly client I look after, and my client got really mixed up and passed me the phone. Got a call from 01461 444026, they said they’re with BT and were threatening to block all unwanted calls. Felt a bit off to me.

They rang me but never left a voicemail. After reading what others have said, it seems they’ve been contacting loads of people recently as well. Sounds like it’s probably one of those annoying scam calls.

We've been getting calls from this number non-stop on our landline for the past two days, and the amount of annoying calls has only gone up.

Yesterday I got loads of calls from a number starting with 01264. Every time I picked up, the line went dead straight away. Then today an Asian bloke called me from 01461 444026, but the moment I told him to quit ringing me, he just hung up. Proper annoying!

Got a call from 01461 444026 saying they were from the TPS, asking me to re-register my phone number. I ended the call right away 'cos it felt dodgy. After that, I checked out the TPS site and saw loads of warnings about fraudsters trying to scam folks out of cash. So glad I didn’t fall for it!

Had a run-in with someone pretending to be from TPS asking for my card info. A couple of days back they rang from 01264 264004, then again yesterday same number, and now today yet another call. They won’t stop hassling. Best just to block and forget about it.

These lot are total scammers! I've got about 8 calls from them already and even when I block the number, they keep ringing. Saying they're from TPS is just a load of rubbish.
