On Dec 7th 2019, I received an automated call about a £600 foreign charge, claiming to be from Mastercard & Visa's anti-fraud dept. When I selected option 1, I got connected to a lady with a noticeable foreign accent, but the background was quite loud and distracting. I asked her which anti-fraud team exactly she was with, but then the line just suddenly dropped! Later, I looked over my bank account and there was no £600 foreign payment at all. That's where it stands for now.
