5 monthsThe caller sounded really hard to make out, but since the number showed up as a UK landline, I just thought it was alright. I kept asking her to say who she was like 3 times (she seemed to have an Indian accent?), then asked her to spell her name out. After that, she just hung up. That made me check this website, and turns out it might be a scamcall. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.UK6 monthsGot a call at half past twelve, some bloke claiming to be from the local energy company. I told him straight up he was talking rubbish and definitely not local. Asked him for his firm’s name but he just shut right up. Told him a few home truths before he hung up on me mid-sentence. It’s clear these scammers are desperate now with Christmas coming, trying to pinch what they can to have a grand time on other people’s dime. Oh, and this was the fourth time in three days I’ve had to deal with these idiots!6 monthsGot a call from someone saying they were from my bank's fraud team because of some big charges on my card, but they wouldn’t say which bank it was.6 monthsGot a call from someone named David claiming he was from Windows & Doors Ltd - total scam.DavidWindows & Doors Ltd6 monthsGot a call around lunch, it rang twice then cut out. Honestly, kinda pointless since I never call back numbers I don't recognise if there's no voicemail left.6 monthsThis number called me claiming they were with Microsoft, asking if I was the primary user of my computer. As soon as I said no, they just ended the call.Microsoft6 monthsThe phone rang but I didn’t pick up ’cause the number was unfamiliar. No message was left, but the voicemail grabbed a bit of the caller talking - sounded like a bunch of people from an Indian call centre, with loads of accents not quite English. I’m guessing it’s a scam. If it were legit, surely they’d have left a voice message asking me to ring back? This is my first dodgy call this week, and it’s only Wednesday... maybe they're finally getting the message?Submit Your Own Report (01460 948368)
