It seems this company, along with another, uses some kinda setup where their calls get routed through different switchboards so the same bloke can ring you from loads of different places. Last time they called, I managed to mess with the guy for a good 3 minutes before hanging up. Got a call from a woman with a Scouse accent, said she wanted to speak to me and actually used my real name. Said it was about an accident I’d been involved in or something. This was the eighth call I’d got today. Someone actually answered this time and started asking about a car crash I was in last month. When I told them it happened in March, they said “oh sorry, that’s what I meant. Some accident insurance firm kept ringing me non-stop, so I figured I'd have a bit of fun and started feeding them details about a made-up smash and the number of folks involved. Told them it was all over the national and local news, said it was a massive crash with some big names mixed up in it. Even blagged a random car reg number to them. They then told me they couldn’t track that reg or any crash like that. What a shocker! I pushed them to dig deeper into their records and track down my ‘accident report’, asking why else they’d be phoning me if there wasn’t one.

Got a call from 01460 266 745 on my phone. They kept talking about some accident supposedly from the past couple years. I told them it must’ve been pretty serious 'cause I don’t remember any of it, like I’ve got amnesia or something. Then they just ended the call.
