Just got a call from 01458873894, and the person said they were with British Telecom. The voice had an East Asian lilt, and I could hear what sounded like a busy call centre with others talking in a similar accent. When I asked them to confirm they were really from BT, the line was cut straight away. The number showed it was from a tiny village in rural Somerset, a place I know doesn’t have much ethnic diversity at all. Seems dodgy to me.
