this guy named earl rang me up trying to get me to verify my email so he could send some free investment news letter. i told him ‘nah, not interested’ and he just ended the call. i looked up the number afterwards and couldn't find any info linking it to a legit company. with how pushy he was, it really felt like a dodgy scam to me.

I hardly ever pick up my phone because no one except me has my number. I’ve ended up tagging over 400 calls as spam or scammers already! Honestly, best thing is to just ignore any unknown numbers - it saves a lot of hassle.

So this is totally a scam. First, I got a call from 01358820022 but nobody spoke, just dead silence. Then another call came from a very similar number - they just swapped one digit - and again, no sound. I thought these kinds of things were meant to be banned or stopped by now. I looked up a number yesterday, and it had over half a million views on it, yet it’s still going on. How’s that even allowed?
