Received an unexpected call purporting to be from my internet service provider. Clearly a scam, as it didn’t even resemble their usual contact style. Just as I was about to question them further, they hung up on me. It’s likely they were fishing for a way into my computer!

Some bloke called Jack Dawson, sounded like he had an Asian accent and claimed to be from BT tech support. He reckoned my router was haunted or something and could damage all my other gadgets. I told him I wasn’t just gonna trust him and needed to check who he was first. Then he dropped another number on me, 1800369369, to ring him back. Seems like a total scam if you ask me.

This morning, I got a call from this number claiming to be my internet service provider. They even knew my name, but something felt off about it. In the end, I decided to terminate the call. Clearly a scam!
