Caller started with a super quiet “hello” and then there was a lot of noise in the background. They hung up right after.

I had a call today on my home phone from this number. The caller was after my youngest boy. When he picked up, she started droning on about some forms regarding PPI that they supposedly sent over. To be clear, 1) we’ve received absolutely nothing, and 2) my son has never even had a credit card! Generally, I leave the phone to the answering machine during the day, and I reckon I’ll keep doing that from now on.

A caller claimed they had dispatched some documents for me to recover PPI from my bank. I informed her that I neither received any forms nor possessed any PPI. She was quite adamant that I had indeed received them. Eventually, the call ended abruptly.

In the past few days, this number has rung us up a total of four times, yet whenever we pick up, there's nothing but silence on the other end. Quite puzzling, really!
