Caller started with a super quiet “hello” and then there was a lot of noise in the background. They hung up right after.

This number called me earlier on my home phone asking for my youngest lad. When he got on the phone, she started talking about some PPI forms they supposedly sent. Thing is, we never got any forms through the post, and my son has never owned a credit card, so it sounded fishy. I normally don’t pick up the landline during the day and let it go to voicemail, and I reckon I’ll keep doing that from now on.

Someone rang saying they’d posted me paperwork to get PPI money back from my bank. I told them I hadn’t got any forms, nor did I have any PPI. They kept pushing it was definitely true, then I just ended the call.
