Got a scam call from an Asian person again, trying to pull a fast one. Honestly, it just makes people more suspicious and fuels racial stereotypes. Most of the dodgy calls I get seem to come from that part of the world, which is pretty annoying.

The only place that springs to mind that might have my info like that Asian gentleman did is Liverpool Victoria insurance. When I questioned where he got my phone number from and who he was working for, he just brushed off my questions and kept trying to get more info from me. My guess is Liverpool Victoria must have shared or sold my details somewhere along the line. I'm definitely gonna look into it with them and won’t be renewing any policies either.

At first, nobody answered when I called. I ended up hanging up.

somebody called with like a heavy asian accent and tried to say my name but got it totally wrong. didn’t even entertain it, just blocked straight away. onto the next call!

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent asking all sorts of questions about my lifestyle - felt like a typical scam attempt to me. Stay alert folks!

I answered the call, but just put the phone down straightaway. Then I rang them back to check, no reply and just got engaged. So, I’ve added the number to my auto-reject list now.
