I got a call from someone claiming to be my phone company, asking if I’d been getting loads of annoying calls lately. They told me my address and mentioned that I pay by Direct Debit, which I said was right. Then they started asking for the expiry date on my credit card, saying it looked like I’d just got a new one. I told them I wasn’t going to share that info, and they just hung up on me.
