6 yearsI got a call supposedly from BT internet saying they were going to cut off my phone and internet because of some dodgy activity. It was one of those automated things asking me to press 1 to speak to someone. When I pressed 1, it just looped the same message again. Eventually I did get through to a person with an Indian or Pakistani accent who kept calling me a woman, even after I told them I wasn’t. Their reasons for shutting off service were really vague.
