Other Numbers
Fortunately, I realised straight away that this was a scam since I hadn't made any such purchase.
Curiosity got the better of me, and I stayed on the line, eventually speaking to a live operator. He was far from pleased when I informed him I hadn’t initiated the call; after all, I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, which they clearly disregard.
His reaction was unexpectedly aggressive, and I could hardly remain calm, so I shouted at the top of my lungs and hung up on him.
It’s absolutely disgraceful how these individuals operate, exploiting vulnerable people who might fall for their deceit.
It’s utterly revolting.
