Got a call from a woman earlier, asking for some random bloke. She mentioned a survey at first, then just started laughing and ended the call. Honestly, if you're gonna scam someone, you’d think they might keep it together a bit better on the phone.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming it was for a survey. I just spoke over him nonstop for like 20 mins, mostly just to mess about and annoy the poor sod.

This number has been calling me non stop for like 6 months now, always asking for Mrs Smith. I keep telling them she’s never had this number, it’s actually a work phone for the company I’ve been with for years, over a decade actually. I’ve asked them loads of times to take me off their list but they just ignore it. Told them now I’m gonna report them for harassment if it continues. I can’t just block them cos it’s a business line and could be important for customers. I’m with O2 as well.

Got two calls today, both blocked. First one says it’s from Beneficial, number 01352 836583, which is Mold in Wales. The second came from Glossop, 01457 779194. How do these scammers manage to keep doing this without getting caught?

Got a call from a number I didn’t know so I just ignored it. After reading the comments here, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number and removed it from my phone.

Got a random call from some scammer again. I picked up but stayed silent. They ended the call after just a few seconds.

GOT ANOTHER CALL FROM ' BENEFICIAL' ASKIN ME TO DO A QUICK SURVEY. I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK AND HEARD A RECORDED MESSAGE SAYIN " WE’LL BE RINGING YOU AGAIN SOON." THE WAY IT WAS SAID FELT REALLY INTIMIDATING. I’VE REPORTED IT TO THE POLICE AS HARASSMENT AND THREATS.

I didnt pick up cos I was a bit iffy about it, left a message on my voicemail but no one said anything, so I’m pretty sure it was just one of those cold calls.

I’ve told them loads of times to take me off their list but they still ring from different numbers, and I just keep blocking them. It’s always the same person who keeps talking over me, insisting I finish the survey. It’s properly irritating now; how are they still allowed to do this?

Just like loads of others, i told her i needed to answer the door and left her hanging for a bit, then asked if she could post the survey instead. Gave her a made-up address: 1 Cantbe Bothert Lane, Wiffyou, Dumshire, FU27 0FF.

Got a call from some telemarketer asking for a made-up person who’s never even had this number. The woman was quite pushy, saying I had to do her survey. I told her to never call me again, but she kept nagging about the survey. So I gave her a not-so-nice prediction about her future, which was pretty bleak. Oh, and I just switched to an 02 number - wonder if that’s anything to do with it?

they've been ringing me all day, finally picked up at 8.20 pm. this rude woman told me i had to talk to her, when i asked why, she said i had to answer some questions so they could assist me. i told her to remove my number from their list and that i'd report them, then she just hung up. blocked the number now, but i'm sure they'll try from a different one like all these kinds of calls do.
