Received a call from a debt collection firm earlier today, claiming they were looking to resolve my alleged arrears. I firmly stated that I didn't owe anything, and the representative assured me yesterday that they'd take my details out of their database. To my surprise, here we are again with another call from them!

Beware of a dodgy debt consolidation scheme! I had quite the unpleasant exchange over the phone; the bloke on the other end got quite irate and started cursing when I pointed out that cold calling isn’t permitted. What a ridiculous situation!

This caller, who identified himself as Gary from Clear My Credit, seemed to know my name, but I've never had any dealings with credit in my entire life. Definitely a scam—best to avoid them! They've been ringing me repeatedly.

I received a call today, right in that funny limbo between Christmas and New Year’s! When I picked up, the chap on the other end asked for me by name. Curious, I inquired who was on the line, and he mentioned something regarding credit. I politely requested he remove my number from their records. To my surprise, he let out a huffy sigh and just cut off the line without a word.

When I picked up, the caller immediately inquired for a name, but when I chose not to respond, they insisted on asking where they were calling from. My refusal to give them anything made them just ignore my response and keep pushing for a name. Eventually, the chap suggested there was a “language barrier” and that he'd slow down his speech, almost implying I was thick, even though we both clearly speak the Queen's English! After a bit of back and forth, he mentioned he'd ring back at a later time, which seemed puzzling given this so-called barrier we apparently had. He tried his utmost to sound threatening with a deeper voice but honestly just came across as a child playing a prank. It's a shame, really, as this kind of behaviour could easily prey on someone who is more vulnerable.

Got an unexpected call from someone I didn't recognise, claiming that there was tax fraud linked to my name. They insisted I press 1 to sort it out, warning that if I didn’t, I'd be facing a serious fraud investigation. Honestly, it was quite unnerving, so I promptly hung up.

Donald, please sort out my credit situation. When the company C.M.C. called, I rang them back only to be met by a rather placid robotic voice claiming they weren’t a debt collection agency and that they were here to assist – what a load of rubbish! I’m finding this all rather suspicious and I can’t shake the feeling it might be linked to either an IVA or some sort of scam.
