When I picked up, they wanted me to give a name but when I asked where they were calling from, they just kept asking for the name. I didn’t answer and then the guy said there’s a language barrier and he’d speak slower or something, like that was meant to be insulting, even though we both sounded British? In the end, he said he’d ring back later, but I don’t see how that would fix a ‘language barrier’. He tried to sound threatening by dropping his voice and all, but honestly sounded more like a kid having a laugh. Still, it could scare someone who’s more vulnerable.

When I picked up, the caller immediately inquired for a name, but when I chose not to respond, they insisted on asking where they were calling from. My refusal to give them anything made them just ignore my response and keep pushing for a name. Eventually, the chap suggested there was a “language barrier” and that he'd slow down his speech, almost implying I was thick, even though we both clearly speak the Queen's English! After a bit of back and forth, he mentioned he'd ring back at a later time, which seemed puzzling given this so-called barrier we apparently had. He tried his utmost to sound threatening with a deeper voice but honestly just came across as a child playing a prank. It's a shame, really, as this kind of behaviour could easily prey on someone who is more vulnerable.

I got a call from Clear My Credit Donald while C.M.C. was on the line. When I called back, some soft-spoken robot dude said they weren’t a debt collection agency and claimed they were "here to help" - total rubbish. Definitely seemed dodgy to me. Feels like it could be an IVA or some sort of scam. Be careful.

i got a call from bt about some overdue credit stuff for my late uncle, even tho i’d already emailed them to let them know he’s passed away. really annoying how they keep chasing it.

Yesterday, I checked their website for a quote and it turned out to be twice as expensive as other insurance quotes I got, so I decided not to go ahead with it. Then today, they’ve called me like 6 times in half an hour! I’ve ended up blocking their number now. Definitely not planning to deal with them.
