I’ve set up my phone so that if someone calls and their number isn’t saved, they gotta say who they are first. Only then can I decide to accept or reject the call by pressing a button. It stops any dodgy or sales calls from ringing through to my house. Even though the numbers are stored on my phone, certain ones are completely blocked now and can’t even try to get through. The blocked numbers include 01344720543, 01457628195, and 01683562120.

This number has called me about 25 times in just a couple of days. They say they're from some telephone preference scheme. I kept telling them to take me off their calling list, but they insisted it can't be done and said the only way to stop calls is to sign up with their service. This morning, I got about 10 calls from these guys. Every time, they ended up meeting my selection of heavy metal music. I picked up once yesterday, but they completely messed up my name, so I just ended the call.

A couple of times, I managed to catch someone who said he’s ‘Jack’ from TPS, supposedly about nuisance calls. It’s really frustrating having my phone going off all the time like this.
