I received a call from someone who insisted there was a problem with my internet service and requested to "authenticate" my bank details to prove that I was the rightful subscriber. It's absolutely shocking how shamelessly these scammers operate!

A few hours back, I got an unexpected call from this number. On the line was a woman who identified herself as part of BT’s tech support team. According to her, there were issues with my WiFi's security settings. I had to let her know that BT isn’t actually my internet provider.

Received a call on my mobile, but I didn't pick up. After checking out the comments left on this site, I figured it might pose a risk, so I've since blocked the number.

I recently received a dodgy call about a Wi-Fi service disconnect, urging me to press 1 for assistance but warning of hefty charges. Pressing 2 seemed to lead to an overseas call centre. I took the precaution of contacting Sky, who had the Sky Shield in place to ward off these types of scams. Just a heads up to stay vigilant!
