Somebody called me saying my Vodafone SIM was going to get blocked soon and needed updating right away. They tried to convince me to let them fix it over the phone but I wasn’t having any of it. Told them if there was a problem I’d just go to the Vodafone store instead, then I just ended the call.

I got a call from someone saying they were Vodafone and warning me my sim would be locked in a few days unless I chatted with them. Funny thing is, last week I had another ring from a Colt Technology Services landline. That one dragged on for more than 30 minutes and it was clearly a clever scam aimed at getting into my Microsoft account. They even started messing with my security settings, but luckily I stopped them by using the extra protections I've got set up on my account.
