So, the chap starts off by mentioning my name, right? I respond with "speaking," and then he throws another name at me. I tell him he’s got the wrong number, and he accuses me of some sort of fraud using this other name. Before I could even get a word in, he cuts off the call. All I could muster was that I hadn’t quite caught what he was saying. Quite the kerfuffle, really!

Initially, he called out my name, to which I replied, "Speaking." Then, he mentioned a different name entirely. I promptly informed him that he had the wrong number, but then he accused me of engaging in some sort of fraudulent activity using the incorrect name. It was quite baffling, really!

It seems they've branded themselves as a 'mortgage review' service, but it's evident they're merely another lot of fraudsters keen on pushing their wares. They claimed to have conducted a review for us way back in 2013 and suggested they were keeping our information stored. Quite amusing, considering our mortgage wrapped up back in 2009, and let's be honest, we're mortgage-free. The fool even inquired whether I was interested in acquiring some financing. Another number to add to my Call Blocker; I've amassed over a thousand of them at this point!

I've been receiving calls from this number a few times each day for the past fortnight. Every time I pick up, I’m met with nothing but the sound of a dialling tone. Quite bizarre, really!
