The line went dead, then they just disconnected.

Got a voicemail claiming to be from BT saying my internet would be cut off right away. Problem is, we dont even use BT. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

when i picked up with an american accent, the caller said they were from bt and told me my internet would get cut off if i didnt hit 1. then i got someone with an indian accent claiming to be bt asking how they could assist. after i told her what happened, she said it was probably hackers trying to scam me. tried calling the number back and all i got was a message saying the number wasnt recognised.

Got a recorded call, said it was from BT, warning my internet would be cut off today. It told me to press 1 to speak with someone at BT to sort it out. Seemed really dodgy to me.
