Got a call earlier today from a number with an American accent. They said £600 had been charged to my Visa card from abroad in the past 15 minutes and asked me to press 1 to verify. They didn’t mention my bank or even my name, so I’m guessing it’s a scam. This happened on 11/7/2019 at around 12:15pm here in the West Midlands. Felt pretty dodgy to me.
